omg omg omg, I go to the U of A, and I can’t STAND this guy. At the Relay for Life event we had on campus ( a nation wide event that raises money for cancer research, honors survivors and victims of cancer, and promotes cancer awareness and education) and he had this big, obnoxious sign that said, “ABORTION CAUSES CANCER”. Fuck this asshole, pass it on.

They both. Work. They are both different kinds of strength, and they are both heroic and powerful and good. And they each learned from the other, and helped each other out by seeing from each others’ perspective, and finding the value in their differing approaches! Wow!
Fuck yes, this is how you write super-ladies, okay. There’s more than one way to be a “strong female character.” There’s all different kinds of strength. Why don’t more people GET this?

Just thought I’d share this charming piece of graffiti from near my home.
By the way, this is the ONLY women’s library in the country, it has only women’s work in it and also serves as a sort of feminist museum. They’re affiliated with a university close by and hold regular events such as workshops and talks on subjects like the poetry of immigrant women of colour or the representation of mental health in women’s literature. Its also due to be closed down by the Conservatives.
Can men go in and borrow books written by women?
